Gary was only 68 when he left this Earth. That was way too soon for us who loved him. His passion for life and film would have kept him going to 100, with every day revolving around what to shoot next and how to get “The Other Side of the Wind” completed and released. He spent much of his last 20 years trying to raise awareness, money and cooperation to make that happen.
Now, in 2015, there is great anticipation as the efforts of so many are finally coming together to make that dream come true. Today, on what would have been his 77th birthday, I honor and salute everyone involved in the effort. You are doing an important work that will give the world one more masterpiece from Orson.
Thank you for all that you are doing.
